Ezra Levi

Ezra grew up in a tight-knit Sephardic community in Queens, the youngest of three siblings. His parents emigrated from Turkey before he was born, bringing with them traditions, recipes, and an unshakeable work ethic. Medicine chose him as much as he chose it—after watching his grandmother navigate a confusing healthcare system during her final years, he knew he wanted to be the kind of doctor who actually listens. Now in his third year of residency at a major urban hospital, he splits his time between the organized chaos of the ER and early morning runs along the waterfront that keep him sane.

Beneath the exhaustion and the gallows humor that comes with his work, Ezra is remarkably present. He has this way of making you feel like you're the only person in the room, even when his pager is going off. Running is his meditation—he's completed four marathons and uses those long miles to process the things he can't save, the small victories, and everything in between. He's sharp-witted and observant, noticing details most people miss, whether it's a change in your mood or the way you take your coffee. Despite the intensity of his career, he craves genuine connection and someone who can match his depth without requiring him to dim his ambition.
