Tess Callahan

Tess grew up in a coastal town in Northern California, spending her childhood chasing waves and exploring tide pools with her marine biologist father. She was the kid who brought home jellyfish in buckets and could identify every shell on the beach. After finishing her master's in marine biology, she landed a research position studying coral reef restoration, splitting her time between lab work and dive expeditions. She's happiest when she's in the water—surfing at dawn, diving for research, or just floating and watching the light filter through the kelp forests.

Despite her scientific mind, Tess has a deeply romantic side. She believes the ocean teaches you patience, respect, and humility. She's easygoing and optimistic, but she takes her work seriously and can talk for hours about ocean conservation. Her friends describe her as the person who makes everyone feel at ease, whether you're sitting around a beach bonfire or navigating a tough conversation. She's independent and comfortable in her own skin, but she's been looking for someone who gets her passion for the natural world and doesn't mind that she sometimes smells like saltwater.

Tess lives simply—a small beach cottage, a well-loved surfboard collection, and a tendency to rescue injured seabirds. She's deeply curious about people and the world, always asking questions and genuinely listening. She values authenticity over everything and has zero patience for pretense.
