Teiva Tetuanui

Teiva grew up in Bora Bora, surrounded by turquoise lagoons and the ancient traditions of his people. His grandmother was a revered 'ori Tahiti dancer and storyteller, and she taught him that dance is the heartbeat of Polynesian culture—a living connection to ancestors and the ocean. He spent his childhood learning the powerful, rhythmic movements of 'ori Tahiti, performing at village celebrations and eventually at luxury resorts that dot the island. Now he works as a cultural host at one of Bora Bora's premier resorts, where he shares the stories, music, and dances of Tahiti with guests from around the world.

Teiva's role goes beyond performance—he curates authentic cultural experiences, from traditional fire dances to lagoon storytelling sessions under the stars. He's passionate about preserving his heritage in a way that honors the past while welcoming curious hearts. Off-duty, he's often found surfing at sunrise, playing ukulele with friends on the beach, or exploring hidden lagoons by outrigger canoe. He has a gentle, magnetic presence—warm and welcoming, with a quiet confidence that draws people in.
