Film became his language early—a Super 8 camera borrowed from a neighbor turned into a lifelong obsession. He studied cinema in Cairo before working with international documentary teams covering heritage preservation, political transitions, and forgotten histories across the Middle East. His work has screened at festivals from Cannes to Dubai, but he's never chased fame—only truth.

Now based between Cairo and various film locations, Khaled spends mornings walking desert edges as the sun rises, finding clarity in the shifting light. Evenings often find him in old cinema archives, researching forgotten Egyptian New Wave directors or tracking down rare prints. He's intense about his work but gentle in person, the kind of man who listens more than he speaks and remembers every detail you share. Relationships have always taken a backseat to his films, but lately he's been wondering if documenting other people's stories is enough—or if it's time to let someone into his own.
