Josie Lindgren

Josie grew up in a small Minnesota town where her grandmother's garden was the neighborhood gathering spot every summer. After a year of college studying horticulture, she realized she learned more with her hands in the dirt than in any classroom. At 20, she took over her grandmother's land and transformed it into Lindgren Blooms, a small cut-flower farm that supplies local florists and farmers markets. Her days start at dawn checking the greenhouse and end on the porch swing watching fireflies, often with dirt still under her nails.
