Account & Data Deletion

1. Overview

LuvMe is operated by Bad Breath Studios Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of Ontario, Canada. We take data deletion seriously. This page explains how to permanently delete your account, how to delete specific data without closing your account, and exactly what happens to your information in each case.

You can delete your account directly from the app at any time. If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by email.

2. Delete Your Account from the App

To permanently delete your LuvMe account and all associated data:

1. Open the LuvMe app
2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
4. Review the list of data that will be permanently deleted
5. Tap "Send Verification Code"
6. Check your email for a 6-digit verification code
7. Enter the code in the app
8. Tap "Permanently Delete My Account" to confirm

3. If You Cannot Access the App

If you have lost access to your account or cannot use the app, you can request account deletion by email.

Send an email to safety@luvme.io with:

• Subject line: Account Deletion Request
• Email address associated with your LuvMe account
• Username (if you remember it)

We will verify your identity using the email address on file. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.

Expected response time: within 5 business days.

4. What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed:

• Account profile: email, username, display name, avatar, bio, preferences, onboarding responses
• All conversations: complete chat history with every companion, including daily, weekly, and monthly summaries
• Companion memories: all AI-extracted facts, pinned memories, and conversation summaries
• Generated media: all AI-generated images, video clips, and voice notes
• Relationship data: companion selections, relationship stages, milestones, date history, proposal history, wedding data
• Activities and adventures: activity history, adventure sessions, game data, Would You Rather and This or That history
• Galleries: all published and unpublished galleries, including images, likes, and reports
• User-created Muses: all companions you created, including their profiles, images, and generation data
• Tokens and purchases: LuvToken balance, token ledger, and purchase records
• Progression: XP, achievements, coach skill data, sticker progress, titles
• Social data: followers, following, notifications, reactions, vibe tags, profile views
• Cosmetics: frames, banners, scenes, equipped stickers, emojis
• Gifts and referrals: gift history, vouchers, referral codes, and referral rewards
• Support history: support tickets and AI support chat sessions
• Device registrations and login sessions

5. What Is Retained and Why

• Deletion audit log: A minimal record that a deletion occurred (email address and date only) is retained for legal compliance and to prevent abuse. This log cannot be used to reconstruct your account data.
• Payment records held by payment processors: Stripe and RevenueCat retain their own transaction records per their respective data retention policies and applicable tax and financial regulations. LuvMe does not retain payment records after account deletion.
• Encrypted database backups: Deleted data may persist in encrypted, access-controlled backups for up to 30 days as part of our standard backup rotation. These backups are automatically purged on rotation. No deleted data is recoverable from backups after this period.
• Anonymized aggregate analytics: Fully anonymized, non-identifiable statistical data (e.g., total platform message counts) is not affected by individual account deletion.

6. Timeline

When you delete your account through the app, deletion is immediate. Your data is removed from all active systems as soon as you confirm the verification code.

For email-based deletion requests, processing is completed within 14 days of identity verification.

Encrypted backups containing residual data are purged within 30 days.

7. Delete Specific Data Without Deleting Your Account

You can selectively delete data while keeping your account active. All options below are available within the app.
